Norton Park - Duluth Minnesota

The Norton Park neighborhood is found in the vicinity of 75th Avenue West, near Grand Avenue. The Willard Munger Trail currently begins here with plans to extend it to Duluth's Canal Park and the Duluth Lakewalk by 2011. The Western Waterfront Trail also begins at 75th Avenue West.

This area is home to one of the last community parks maintained by neighborhood residents in the city.
Norton Park has a community center building that was built in 1965. 

The community park at 81st Avenue West and Coleman Street was once the site of the Norton Park School during the 1920's and 1930's.

Norton Park is also the site of the Norton Park Methodist Church (79th Ave West) and the First Love Church (78th Ave West). The First Love Church was formerly the Holy Cross Catholic Church built in 1923. It was moved in 1940 from 75th Avenue West and Grand Avenue to its present location.
